Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Production Team Leader with administrative duties, SAP management, and shift coordination.
  • Conduct shift handovers.
  • Lead start-of-shift meetings and short interval control discussions to track progress.
  • Organize the team to achieve daily targets and uphold production goals.
  • Conduct quality control checks, including inspecting labels and finished goods.
  • Reduce waste and optimize efficiency while maintaining high product standards.
  • Report EHS concerns, near misses, and accidents, ensuring safety compliance.
  • Lock up the site safely at the end of the shift.

Operational Duties

  • Prepare raw materials and packaging, verifying weights, types, and batch numbers.
  • Operate equipment following process instructions, ensuring smooth material handling.
  • Perform product quality control and necessary adjustments per established procedures.
  • Maintain strict adherence to work instructions, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Conduct initial testing and release of products, ensuring no deviations.
  • Monitor finished goods appearance and packaging to meet company standards.
  • Maintain clean machinery and work areas while ensuring proper upkeep.
  • Take ownership of training documentation and compliance with all legal & company EHS policies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of chemical mixing and production processes.
  • Strong math and English skills.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic educational degree, high school diploma, or GED equivalent.
  • 3+ years as Production Operator II or 5+ years in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety regulations, and quality procedures.
  • Availability to work shifts and adapt to business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Counterbalance FLT.
  • First Aid certification is a plus.
