Territory Account Manager – Durable Assembly

Tennessee and Kentucky

The Territory Account Manager – Durable Assembly is expected to grow and retain H.B. Fuller's market share and customer base in key market segments while achieving profit sales targets.  

Primary Duties

  • Promote and sell the latest H.B. Fuller products and technology thereby enhancing our position in the market as an innovative leader and create a competitive advantage and optimize value for customers

  • Develop annual business results, aligned with business plan, sales, contribution margin and volume, accountable for delivering results

  • Independently and technically support the customer for standard needs, including running a product demonstration

  • Intimately know the territory and industry, including developing new business pipeline and focus effort on delivering growth and maintaining existing business to deliver plan

  • Implement business pricing strategy based on business guidelines, expertly delivers price increases thereby enabling prices to stick

  • Negotiate pricing and margin (aligned with the business) using value selling and the flip pricing tool to capture optimum prices margin for H.B. Fuller

  • Provide voice of the customer feedback into the organization

  • Ability to communicate and influence at all levels

  • Technically competent, and independently able to manage demonstrations and technical problem-solving

  • Focused on growth (larger opportunities), and optimizing price and profitability

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience; related industry and B2B experience

  • Ability to apply problem-solving skills using technical knowledge, and can independently and technically support customers

  • Ability to travel – up to 60%

  • Valid drivers license

Preferred Qualification

  • 4-year college degree in a related field, preferably with a technical/mechanical, business, or chemistry background

  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience; related industry and B2B experience, preferably with a chemistry background

  • Broad working knowledge of multiple substrates with advantages and disadvantages of each

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 in addition to the base salary, this position is eligible to participate in the Sales Incentive Plan.
