Job Purpose
This position has the responsibility of developing new customers and markets for Sekisui Fuller’s Engineering Adhesives (EA) value added, innovative adhesives and sealants products. Primary focus is profitable growth through focusing efforts to develop new sales and maintains existing business to deliver annual plan. Primary markets to further develop include Automotive, Electronics and/or General Industries in which to sell our innovative solutions. Sales professional is accountable for delivering overall annual business results, aligned with business plan, sales, profit, and volume.
Key Accountabilities
Develop customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
Focuses sales efforts by researching existing and potential market needs. Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
Keeps management and development team informed by submitting activity and results reports
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Key Requirement
Minimum 5 years’ experience of manager of adhesive or chemical material product development or sales.
Recognized expert internally and externally in an industry or technology.
Has developed a deep understanding of applications or technology that crosses multiple market segments
English & Japanese communication skill
