Position Title: Accounts Payable Specialist III

Location: Costa Rica and Home Office

Position Overview

The Accounting Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the accounting department with a range of tasks, including data entry, reconciliations, and basic financial analysis. This role involves processing invoices, assisting in month-end close procedures, and helping to generate financial reports. The Accounting Assistant contributes to maintaining accurate financial records and collaborates with team members to ensure compliance and efficient operations. This position is focused on ANZ.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintains financial records: They perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, & verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records such as costing, accounts payable, payroll, &/or travel & expenses.

• Preparing financial reports: They assist in preparing financial statements, budget reports, & other financial reports for management review.

• Conducting financial analysis: They may perform basic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, & potential areas of improvement.

Accounting Assistant III scope & ownership;

• Demonstrating a solid technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the role.

• Identifies problems & proactively finding solutions.

• Able to guide and influence other team members.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years of related work experience

• Bachelor's or University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field

• English - Advanced

• Flexibility in the work schedule (Sunday to Thursday)

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of the SAP system
