Job Title: Financial Statements and Compliance Reporting Specialist

Position Overview
The Financial Statements and Compliance Reporting Specialist reports to LATAM RtR Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is the preparation of financial statements across multiple countries in LATAM and ANZ regions.
This position involves coordinating external and internal audit processes, supporting the Record-to-Report (RTR) GL team, and preparing various country compliance reports
Additionally, also supports the Management of the companies on Financial, Tax and Legal matters.
Primary Responsibilities:
50% – Financial Statement Preparation and Audit Coordination
• Prepare and ensure the accuracy of Statutory Financial Statements for entities across LATAM and ANZ regions in compliance with local accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with local finance teams to address specific country requirements.
• Manage and coordinate the list of information requested by external auditors.
• Serve as the primary liaison between auditors and internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate responses to queries.
• Support all other analysis and activities requested by management.
• Support the RTR GL team in addressing internal audit requests and inquiries.
20% Compliance Reporting
• Prepare and submit various compliance reports, ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements in LATAM and ANZ.
• Monitor changes in local compliance laws and ensure the entities remains compliant.
• Responsible for monthly account reconciliations, ensuring that all the supporting documentation is in place and the aging balance is appropriate
20% Process Improvement and Documentation
• Identify opportunities for improving statutory financial reporting and compliance processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, reports, and audit responses.
• Improve processes and controls of Finance Information Systems and Internal Controls with objective of simplifying and standardizing the accounting structure and enhancing accuracy of the financial statements.
• Support the Harmonization and Implementation of Finance Information Systems and Internal Controls.
10% Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with the RTR GL team and other finance functions to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
• Support the elaboration of 10-K report and Corporate Tax Questionnaires annually
• Collaborate with external consultants and stakeholders to meet specific reporting deadlines
• Provide business testing for SAP system updates and changes related to RTR.

BUDGETARY/FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY
• By a good control over Financial Statements and Compliance will minimize surprises and ensure that all issues are reflected promptly in accounting records.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's or University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong accounting technical background with a Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA, TOC or equivalent qualification);
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant working experience preferably in multinational companies or Share Service Center
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish
• Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferably in advance Excel- eg. Pivot Tables/Macros), ERP-Module and Hyperion
• Organized, Motivated, Professional and Excellent Analytical Skills;
• A self-starter with a strong work ethic and energetic style who sets the example and creates an environment of high expectations.
• Detail-oriented, organized and resourceful with a strong orientation to results
• Ability to lead, solve problems and communicate at all levels.
• Ability to work in an open space environmental.
• Some availability to travel
Preferred qualifications:
• Strong USGAAP Experience and Knowledge;
• Knowledge of SOX and internal controls related with Financial Reporting.
• Demonstrate experience of delivering finance systems improvements.
