Multiple Demand Planner positions available.

As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate forecasting and demand planning to optimize inventory levels and meet customer needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement long-term strategic plans, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Reporting 25%

  • Leverage SAP or any other software tool and use statistical data to develop accurate demand forecasts for products within the market segment 

  • Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality and collaborate with sales teams to create the demand plan

  • Tracking KPIs related to demand planning and creating reports on demand planning performance to share with stakeholders 

  • Prepare and present demand reports and forecasts to management, providing insights and recommendations for inventory and production planning

Forecasting: 50%

  • Collaborate with Sales, Commercial, PM and R&D teams to evaluate long-term capability to meet customer orders and discuss demand shaping options

  • Create operational horizon (3-18 months) unconstrained and constrained demand plan

  • Review and adjust demand forecasts based on changes in market conditions and customer needs

Demand Planning:  25%

  • Develop and analyze different demand scenarios to anticipate and prepare for potential market changes and disruptions

  • Drive demand planning meetings for market segment(s)

  • Budget reconciliation, investigate reason for discrepancies, based findings, adjust future budgets or forecasts as necessary to reflect more accurate expectations for costs and revenues

  • Develop a comprehensive 5-year Strategic Plan for long term planning

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, and supply chain management within the chemical or related industry

  • Lead and work effectively with various teams

  • Advanced expertise in analyzing data and interpreting internal and external trends

  • Identifies issues in demand forecasts and develops critical corrective actions

  • Excellent communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders across various functions

  • Highly proficient with demand planning systems and statistical analysis and tools, forecasting models and the use of predictive analytical tools

  • Understand organizational business model, market dynamics and strategic objectives.

Preferred Requirements

  • ASCM, CPIM, or CSCP certification(s)

This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Applicants must have U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require H.B. Fuller sponsorship of a work visa to work for H.B. Fuller.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $82,020 - $102,525.
