Finance Credit Analyst - College New Grad Opportunity

On-the-job and professional training will be provided to the New College Graduate coming into this position. This role will focus on identifying process improvements relative to credit/collection activity, documenting processes and gain an understanding of executing collection activity.


  • Review financial statements and conduct risk assessments

  • Build relationships and partner with an established customer base

  • Troubleshoot specific account process challenges, including proprietary software portals.   

  • Consult with Supervisor on strategies to improve collection effectiveness, focusing on portfolio based approaches. 

  • Approves credit for existing accounts up to a certain amount according to established guidelines—D&B and/or Experian reports, payment history, credit insurance coverage, and business need.

  • Address credit holds for over limit and aging with the appropriate HBF resource—Credit, Customer Service, Sales.

  • Execute collection activity

  • Executes periodic department management and operation reports according to established timetable and procedures.


  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting with a graduation date of May/June 2022

  • Ability to work independently

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal & communication skills; comfortable working with people at all levels within the organization.   

  • Ability to execute software and systems — SAP, JDE, Microsoft Office, Internet
