Engineering Adhesives is a solutions provider to customers across many exciting market segments. We are seeking a dynamic individual who will build a world-class technical service organization by leveraging best practices from within the organization and developing new methods to provide value to our customers.

The Technical Service Manager – Adhesives position manages technical specialists that will support markets in Engineering Adhesives Americas. They provide technical direction, support strategic planning, allocate resources, and drive process improvement initiatives. Their leadership extends to mentoring, coaching, and talent development within teams. Additionally, they have increased involvement in strategy development, providing input on how technical initiatives align with broader organizational objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervision of 2+ direct reports 

  • Delivering customer value through technical support directly or indirectly through coaching to achieve customer satisfaction

  • Collaborates with commercial, technical, product management, and operations to deliver timely value to customers 

  • Builds competitive advantage by building product/solution offerings that are differentiated.

  • Proactively identifies and assumes ownership for activities to advance our technical service organization

  • Fosters and develops a sustainable knowledge of customer processes, products and applications beyond the use of H.B. Fuller products

 Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma and at least 12 years of relevant work experience OR Associates or technical degree in related area of study and at least 10 years of relevant work experience OR Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related area of study & at least 8 years of relevant work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in adhesive and sealants application processes

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

  • Leadership experience

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in transportation/mobility and durable assembly markets

  • Experience with multiple adhesive or sealant chemistries

This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Applicants must have U.S. work authorization that does not now or in the future require H.B. Fuller sponsorship of a work visa to work for H.B. Fuller.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $105,000 - $135,000.
