Position Title: Facility & Operations Manager

Location: Wunstorf, Germany – Onsite

Position Overview

The Facility/Operations Manager leads all aspects of operations at the Wunstorf site, reporting to the EA EIMEA Operations Director. This role oversees production and manages teams across Production, Logistics, EHS, Quality, and Continuous Improvement to ensure operational excellence and compliance with business KPIs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as facility leader for production, quality, EHS, and operational KPIs.

  • Implement productivity, yield, and quality improvement techniques.

  • Troubleshoot internal quality issues and execute corrective actions.

  • Investigate customer complaints and implement root cause solutions.

  • Recommend and drive process improvements for new and existing products.

  • Support R&D in product introductions, scale-up, and material acquisition.

  • Lead projects focused on quality and productivity enhancements.

  • Manage non-production facility-related issues and act as primary contact with the local Works Council.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3–5 years of plant management experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills to drive projects and engage teams.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project; ability to work independently under pressure.

  • Fluent in English and German (spoken and written).

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years in chemical or adhesive industry preferred.

  • Technical apprenticeship degree.

  • SAP knowledge.
