QC Technician I EIMEA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document quality checks on starting materials and finished goods in accordance with specifications
  • Determine how to correct out-of-spec materials and direct production to make those adjustments
  • Ensure safe and appropriate practices in lab
  • Maintain retain samples
  • Review test results for both starting materials and finished products.
  • Develop and document technical specifications
  • Maintain and update test result databases.
  • Generate customized test reports.
  • General housekeeping of QC Lab including cleaning and maintaining test equipment
  • Monitor lab equipment calibration testing and report
  • Initiate non-conformance Material reporting
  • Support customer service for complaint investigations. Perform analytical tasks related to customer issues or services.
  • Support R&D development testing, as needed

Collaborative Relationships:

  • Work closely with customer service, shipping, production planning, research and development, and quality management teams.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Completed apprenticeship as a CTA or equivalent education.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong teamwork, reliability, persistence, communication skills, customer focus, time management, ability to prioritize, and quality orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in quality control.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly SAP, is an advantage.
